Our goal is to be helpful. Sometimes that’s by selling software, sometimes it’s by answering a weird question, sometimes it’s just by listening. Compassion guides our communication. 

The language we use is:

Positive
We focus on what we can do, how we can help, and what’s possible. We’re honest about what we can’t do.

Inclusive
We serve all our customers. Responsive fundraising is a big tent, and we encourage everyone to come in.

Respectful
Our audience knows things we don’t. We respect them as the experts on their own situations, organizations, and fundraising. We ask questions to understand better. We follow their lead and respond to their preferences. We don’t make assumptions about them.
