Tone is how our voice is expressed in different places to different audiences.

Conversational & Contextual

Virtuous’ tone is always personal, helpful, and encouraging. It is rarely formal, but always respectful. It adapts to suit the situation, but we always sound like the same “person.” Tone is determined by audience and context.

Ask yourself...

  • Who is the audience?
    (Have they ever heard of Virtuous? Are they customers or prospects?)

  • How well do I know them?
    (Are you engaged in the sales process or making contact for the first time?)

  • What are the expectations of this communication?
    (A keynote at a conference has different expectations than an email with an established contact, for instance.)
